Each year, this annual celebration gathers leaders from across the environmental industry highlighting innovation, leadership, and measurable impact in environmental stewardship.
At the heart of the evening, the Environmental Achievement Award recognizes outstanding professionals who lead their organizations toward true environmental excellence. In addition, we celebrate parent award recipients and finalists who advance sustainability through strong performance across the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) pillars. Through their leadership, they drive accountability and implement forward-thinking environmental practices that create lasting impact.
Additionally, the Legend of the Environmental Industry Award honors an individual whose dedication and leadership have shaped the environmental industry over time. Through vision, influence, and sustained commitment to sustainability, this leader has helped transform how the industry approaches environmental responsibility.
We also celebrate the next generation of environmental innovators through our Environmental Excellence Scholarship Program, which now enters its fifth and final year of the James Doetsch Memorial Scholarship. Through this program, we award scholarships to exceptional students from the Science & Engineering Fair of Metro-Detroit. Our volunteer professional awards judges carefully evaluate each project and select students whose environmental-focused work demonstrates creativity, impact, and promise for the future.
